THE POWER EVOLUTION

WHAT IF COMICS WEREN'T BOOKS, BUT PROPHESIES?

In ancient earth civilization, an alien came to our world to hide five cosmic spheres of unimaginable power from an evil galactic empire. One of those spheres, known as the sphere of time, he entrusted with an African tribe called the Asanii. Years after the alien had left earth, the Asanii discovered that the presence of the sphere of time had transformed them into immortals with the ability to see the future. With this new ability, the Asanii would go spread out around the world and seek to prevent tragedies and disasters before they happened. In their efforts, they saw that their prophecies unintentionally caused great panic and strife. Being labeled witches, the Asanii were forced to go into hiding.

While in hiding, the entire tribe were suddenly struck with a powerful and terrifying new vision. In their visions of the far future, the Asanii saw that the other cosmic spheres hidden on earth would transform various humans into superhuman beings all around the globe. They saw that these superhumans would be the subjects of constant battles that would escalate into a global war that would ultimately attract the attention of the evil galactic empire towards earth. Wanting to still warn the world of these future conflicts, but not cause the panics that they had before, the Asanii sought a new way to prepare the world for these on coming threats. They formed a secret society that would be known as the Scribes. Their objective would be to spread fictional stories featuring superhumans and events similar to the ones in their visions of the future. Using writers from various cultures around the world as their proxies, the Scribes created stories designed to make the world’s populace embrace and prepare for the rise of superhuman beings.

Now after centuries of the world following the adventures of superhumans through mythology, fantasy, science fiction and comic books, real life superhumans have suddenly begun to arise all over the world. As this phenomenon continues to grow, people begin to notice the eerily similar events that seem to mimic the comics. Amongst them, a young comic book artist who’s suddenly imbued with superhuman abilities just like the comic book character he created. As more comic book prophecies continue to come true, the young artist teams up with a federal agent to try to solve the mystery of these comic book worlds rapidly becoming more and more of a reality before the worst depicted disasters of all manifests itself into the real world.
